Responsibilities:
Opening new files;
Processing payments and billing;
Coordinating the processing and execution of specialized prescriptions, including data entry and medication regulation;
Coordinating health services with stakeholders, as needed;
Performing renewal follow-ups, preparation, and labeling of medications;
Making medication delivery planning calls with patients at their homes or in clinics;
Planning medication deliveries for patients with clinics;
Following up on patient appointments at the pharmacy;
Addressing various problems that may arise in the pharmacy;
Preparing various reports as needed;
Any other related tasks.
Skills and Required Characteristics:
Experience as a pharmacy technical assistant (PTA), medical secretary, in administration, or any other relevant field (an asset);
Holding a DEP in pharmacy technical assistance or an ASP in medical secretarial (an asset);
English, spoken and written, intermediate and advanced level is required, as we serve both French-speaking and English-speaking clients. It is therefore important and required for customer service;
Good ability to learn quickly;
General computer skills and understanding of the Microsoft suite;
Demonstrating great listening skills, patience, and having a human approach towards clients;
Good team work ethics.
